WIN: Looks Like Scunny Next Season book by David Mooney
At 2-0 down Joe Royle turned to his assistant and said “It looks like Scunny next season” a reference to Scunthorpe winning promotion in the previous day’s play-off final. Today’s prize looks back on that turning point game at Wembley in 1999.
You can win a copy of writer and journalist David Mooney’s book about that game at Wembley 99. David has tracked down all the members of the match day squad to get their view on the game and finds out what happened to them since. All the main players are there such as Dickov, Bishop and Goater but David’s also tracked down all other players like Tony Vaughan and Terry Cooke.
You’ll be amazed where Terry went after City!
If you can’t wait to win the prize, you can buy David’s book from his website davemooney.co.uk
